Basheer holds a bachelor’s degree in financial economics from Hashemite University in Jordan. He is a CMA and CSCA, and holds certifications in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), and the International Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management (IRMCert).
He has worked for various banks in Jordan and, throughout his career, has led several risk and governance projects and initiatives. Currently serves as the Head of Risk Management at Al-Wataniah Poultry in Al Qassim, KSA. In his previous role as the Group Risk Manager at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, he managed the ERM activities and led Crisis and Continuity Management programme across the group.
Beyond his work duties, Basheer is an active member of multiple professional organizations including IMA, IIA, and IRM. Recognized for contributions to climate risk research and serving as a steering committee member, demonstrating commitment to advancing risk management practices and sustainable strategies.
